ISRM publishes the scientific farewell for Dr Evert Hoek, which was held at the first International Rock Mass Classification Conference in Oslo at the end of October 2024. ISRM thanks Professors Vassilis Marinos, Leandro Alejano, and John Harrison for their contributions, sister society IAEG, and NGI.
